Overload Fitness:

Based in New Malden, Sam James is the founder and owner of Overload Fitness. A qualified and dedicated personal trainer, with a great personality, she has the ability to make a hard-working training session fun and effective also.

Working on a one to one basis with her clients, typically from their home or nearby park location, Sam provides one to one personal training for adults.

Sam takes a holistic approach having trained as a sports message therapist, an older adults specialist qualification and a passion for nutrition. She takes great care to look at the needs of the individual and has the skills required to help her clients achieve their health goals.

About Sam:

“Hi, I am Sam. I’m a 40 year old mum of 2. I have always loved the outdoors and being active but being a mum and still working didn’t leave much time for exercise.

I became passionate about swapping the traditional concept of ‘sweating it out’ in a gym for an hour to adapting exercise to fit in with my busy lifestyle. That meant it had to include the kids and be done within my day because, I don’t know about you – but I am totally shattered most evenings!

This passion prompted me to re-train and swap careers from the world of fashion to becoming a personal trainer, and I love every moment of it!”

It is a testament to Sam that many of her clients have remained with her since she first started but of course spaces come available as people move, return to work or have a change in circumstances so please do get in touch if you would like a personal trainer to help you to achieve your health goals.

  1. I have trained with Sam for a number of years. She combines great training techniques with a positive personality that makes it easier and more enjoyable to stay on track and get great results. She helps keep me fit and motivated to run my home business and I could not recommend her more highly. If she has a slot available I suggest that you grab it quickly and see for yourself. Debbie x

  2. I have known Sam firstly as a mum from school for many years. She has always had an upbeat and positive attitude to life. She encouraged me to return to fitness after having a break from it for many years since having children. She trained me and it was always great fun. Because of this, I decided to run the London marathon in 2012, and have since ran another 4 marathons!! This is all down to Sam. Very inspiring and always good fun to be around. Georgina X X
