Topic: An introduction to Mindfulness – How to Create Calm in the Chaos of Everyday Life with Kish Modasia
Our busy lives can leave us stressed and tired and with no thinking space. Mindfulness is about creating calm, clarity, and thinking space every day through self-awareness and breathing techniques. It’s a perfect antidote to our busy full lives. Practised daily, even for a few minutes, Mindfulness can change our thinking and perspective so we begin to move away from things that are holding us back. We are constantly juggling so many hats and taking care of ourselves often falls to the bottom on the ladder. By taking better care of ourselves and our emotions we can positively influence those around us. When you focus your mind, you can think more creatively and be more open to change. Even the smallest changes can create a huge positive impact This session will give you an insight into how that is possible.
At this DecorCafe Club morning, Kish Modasia will give you an insight into the benefits of Mindfulness and we will explore and practice simple relaxation tools which you will be able to easily introduce into your everyday life. The event is kindly being hosted by our DecorCafe member Gill Hynes in her stunning river-side Putney home, with the opportunity to also tour and talk to her about her home renovation project.
