More About Amanda Delaney
I’ve always been passionate about interiors and styling, forever updating my bedroom as a child, styling my rooms as a student and loving being in charge of table settings, room layouts and styling for parties and special family occasions. This passion continued throughout my life with each house move, leading to several whole house refurbishments, individual room remodelling through to styling houses to sell.
My career has always been within the creative industry both in a buying, and marketing capacity in the world of interiors, home wares, and food. Following my degree at Manchester University, I worked in Marketing and Buying within the food industry and my love for design, lifestyle and interiors grew through my exposure to food styling, restaurant and hotel interiors. My experience as a buyer allowed me to indulge my passion for sourcing and evaluating products to ensure they were perfect for a curated range and a particular target market. These skills have been put to good use as an interior designer.
I studied Interior design at the KLC School of Design in Chelsea, and draw on all of these experiences as an interior designer for Decorbuddi.
I like to focus on a flexible use of space, creating room adaptability and a seamless flow within a home to provide easy entertaining and living to match a client’s changing needs. Sometimes it takes a simple update of layout, colour, mood and styling to create the most amazing yet affordable result.
