About Dance for Good

Dance for Good is a social enterprise that harnesses the powers of a short dance break during team meetings to get people more energised, creative, motivated and productive. The revenue generated is then used to offer free dance classes in the community to help boost physical and mental wellbeing. Founded by Anne-Marie Taylor, it’s the ultimate pick-me-up for you and your business, with the knowledge that you’re “doing good” for the community too!

We Love Dance for Good Because…

Because short dance breaks are an innovative, efficient and fun way to boost morale, creativity and productivity. It also helps with feeling more connected when you’re part of a team. No dance skills required, just a small dose of humour!

Dance is scientifically proven to have many benefits at many different levels.

We love it too because of its social purpose: all the profits go towards providing free dance and movement classes in the community and various charities.

More About Anne-Marie

Anne-Marie started Dance for Good in 2020, to share the positive powers of dance both for companies and the community.

Her adventures in dance started when she experienced a mid-life “low” at 50. She took up Latin ballroom lessons and soon felt transformed physically and emotionally. She has since won trophies at several Pro-Am competitions, including in Blackpool!

She researched the science behind the benefits of dance, studying with Dr Peter Lovatt, the world-leading expert on the psychology of dance. She is now a certified Movement in Practice (MIP) facilitator.

Anne-Marie started her career in marketing with P&G, Saatchi & Saatchi and BBDO after graduating from French business school HEC. She then set up an executive coaching business, before re-training as an interior designer and developing a successful interiors business.
