About Muraldesign

Anna Starling is the creative force behind Barnes-based Muraldesign. She has been designing and painting stunning murals, along with canvases to commission for 18 years. Her professional murals transform interior rooms and exterior walls into breathtaking features and one-off works of art. Nurseries, bedrooms, playrooms, pool rooms, restaurants, garden walls, trompe l’oeil… the creative options are endless.

Working closely with her clients. whether local or international, means she develops strong relationships and many clients ask her back time and time again as they think of new mural ideas, or move house and want another mural. Anna has met some wonderful clients along the way and even a celebrity or two have had their houses painted by Muraldesign. Anna is used to overcoming challenges in her work be it weather related (if painting outdoors), tight timescales that need to be met or working on a scaffolding tower. The fact that every commission is different and you never know what is around the corner is something Muraldesign particularly thrives on.

We Love Anna Because…

Anna works closely with her clients to bring their own individual ideas to life to design more personal homes and gardens. A naturally talented artist she has the ability to be flexible in her technique and styling creating totally unique mural designs.

More About Anna

Anna is passionate about painting and it really shows through her artwork, she loves being given an idea from a client and then getting to use her creative flare to bring the idea to life through paint. As well as working directly with individuals, she teams up with interior designers, architects and property developers so they can offer their clients an additional service or a solution to a decor dilemma – such as a windowless room or a dark courtyard garden.

Look closely at the featured image to see the quality of Anna’s work. She painted the wall of her client’s central London dining room to capture the mood of the lavender fields in Provence that they love. The chairs were handpainted to complete the natural French country style they wanted to create.
