About Polly Granville

Polly Granville runs an upholstery studio in Brixton committed to restoring and reinventing beautiful pieces of furniture for both domestic and commercial use. She works with Interior Designers, Architects and private clients on projects that are tailor made for each individual space and budget. Known for her excellent communications skills, extensive knowledge of fabrics and love for the craft of upholstery, she will go that extra mile to get exactly what the client wants.

By collaborating with specialist craftspeople that share her passion of keeping traditional skills alive and with her eye for the unusual and a meticulous attention to detail, each project becomes a unique yet functional work of art.

We Love Polly Because…

Polly was name-checked as a “seating couturier” in Homes & Gardens for the bespoke side of her business. Merging style and quality from the past with a freshness of the contemporary and by using innovative detailing with beautiful fabrics she upholsters frames to create extraordinary pieces.

More About Polly Granville

Polly has had pieces shown in the Geffyre Museum and The National Centre for Craft and Design as part of Second Sitters – a creative partnership of practising upholsterers exploring the possibilities of what the craft means in the modern age.

But really the everyday bread is covering Aunt Flo’s beloved old sofa! Working with customers all over London, the home counties and beyond, she would be delighted to hear from you.
