About Rebecca J Mills Designs

Rebecca aims to add a splash of beauty to your world by creating contemporary prints inspired by the amazing every day and applying them to her home décor collections; products include cushions, lampshades, wallpaper and fabric, along with a few accessories.
Absolutely passionate about pattern, Rebecca loves mixing and clashing prints; she loves her customers to embrace pattern as much or as little as they feel comfortable with.

‘It’s so lovely when a customer buys into one or two prints and returns a couple of months later feeling a little braver and wanting more.’
Rebecca launched her business in May 2018; she sells directly from her online shop and is also listed in a select few independent retailers. She works closely with interior designers and stylists as well as upholsterers and curtain makers. Rebecca’s also very happy to work with customers on a bespoke basis.

We Love Rebecca Because…

Rebecca has created a new collection of original designs to inspire and help people to create their individual homes and is delighted to get personally involved to help them to achieve a unique interior that will live with them for a long time.

Talented and enthusiastic, just a year into her new business, she has already held a Pop Up shop at West Elm, to coincide with the launch of London Design week, as well as exhibiting at Top Drawer for the first time, where she was shortlisted for the ‘Spotted’ award.

More about Rebecca:

Rebecca’s passion for pattern, interiors and fashion drove her to devote the first two decades of her career immersed in this world, where she worked with some of the world’s leading brands, as a Buyer and Product Developer. This experience has given her the unique perspective of the relationship between pattern and product design, which runs through all her collections.

‘My patterns are inspired by my sense of the world, from beautiful botanicals to pebbles on the beach. I love to create dramatically contrasting collections – placing florals next to geometrics or an animal print and bringing them all together through colour and texture.

I use my own photography and also enjoy the freedom of hand drawing; I then translate these digitally. My collections are all made in the UK using quality materials to giving a gorgeous luxe and tactile feel.’

Already popular with national news and home editors, from the Sunday Telegraph to House Beautiful,  in March Rebecca was asked to create two bespoke velvet fringed lampshades, to be part of the queen’s bedroom royal room set by Good Home Magazine for the Ideal Home Show.
