The beautiful & decorative Patrick Peacock Bone China Plate is a truly spectacular piece by British designer Susannah Weiland.
It is the first Peacock plate from Susannah’s Botanical Collection. Her original artwork combines tonal pencil drawing with delicate hand embroidery and beading. The plate is then handmade in Stoke-on-Trent, England’s pottery heartland. The design is first carefully reproduced using silk-screen printing techniques which replicate the vibrant colours and tones. Finally, it is finished with a hand-painted 22 carat gold edging.
You will certainly love the detail on this delightful decorative plate. You can easily use it for the dinner table but also to display on your wall. Imagine it beautifully framed as part of an art collection for example.
The Patrick Peacock Bone China Plate also comes in a pretty gift box. It would therefore make a perfect housewarming, wedding, anniversay or birthday gift for someone special.
A Little About Susannah Weiland
Susannah is a British hand-embroidery designer who creates exquisite one-off pieces of art, that she also reproduces for luxury interior products. These include wallpapers, fabrics as well as gorgeous cushions and decorative plates.
Her style is delicate and intricate and her embroidery absolutely exquisite. Susannah is passionate about photography and draws inspiration for her work from images she takes in places such as Kew Gardens.
She draws and hand-embroiders each design by hand. She then adds highlights of bright colour with embroidery and beading. This certainly helps to pick out details on the insects, birds and animals in her black and white pencil illustrations.
